The laboratory

Founded in 1978, the Solar Energy Laboratory (LES) of the University of Lomé carries out fundamental research, research-and-development and technology dissemination in the field of renewable energy, for the benefit of the Togolese population. It brings together two complementary research teams: the UNESCO Chair on Renewable Energy and the Heat Transfer and Energy Phenomena Group.
